Horikazu sensei is a Japanese traditional tattoo master, based in Asakusa. He is known among local people for a great balance of his bodysuits and incredible details of tattoos done by him or by his son Horikazuwaka. Number of traditional tattoo masters is decreasing with a wave of modern tattoo shops in Japan, however this family doesn't follow any modern trend what is still appreciated by many clients.

Horiyasu sensei - neo-traditional Asakusa tattoo master, exsmith of Japanese swords who is known for his amazing colors and very straight-liner design of his tattooes. We had a chance to photograph him while working in his studio. Horiyasu has been awarded whenever he went overseas to join a tattoo convention, his style is well known and his popularity overseas is huge, however he is a humble tattoo master.
